FAQ's- Hair Appts

How do I request an appointment?

For the fastest response, please text me at 480-788-8880. You can also request an appointment through this website (link below), or my link on Instagram @scottsdaleextensionsandcolor.

 

If you are a new client to Haven Salon Healing, please fill out an Appointment Request form on the “Appointments” tab. This form must be completed in full, and I will reach out to you within 24 hours to go over your options for booking!

What's the next step after that?

We have a short phone, text or video consultation to see if we are a good fit for each other!  When we decide to move forward with your service, I will send you a form that goes over my salon policies. I do not charge a deposit unless we are purchasing hair extensions.  

 

What about a hair extensions consultation?

 It is necessary to color match your hair to extensions in person. On rare occasions, I may have to custom color extensions for you.

What do you charge?

My prices vary based on hair density, integrity of the hair, the time it takes to perform the service and the cost of resources used. In Scottsdale, prices and quality of service are higher. I have priced my luxury services moderately, so be accessible to more people interested in amazing beauty services.

What payment options do you offer?

Cash is always preferred, otherwise credit card. No other forms offered.

Do you require prepayment?

 I do not.

 

However, to book a hair extension install, I require the deposit for me to purchase the hair (price determined at consultation).

How far in advance should I make my appointment?

I'm typically booked 2-4 weeks out, unless I recently had a cancellation and there's a surprise opening! For larger hair projects, you may end up waiting up to 4-6 weeks for an appointment. All of my clients pre-book before they leave the salon, so once you're my client, you will have the schedule of your choice moving forward!

What if I need to cancel?

I understand sometimes schedules change and therefore I request at least 48 hours in advance when rescheduling or canceling your appointment. A cancellation must be texted to Christina at 480-788-8880 at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

A late cancellation is defined as a contact less than 48 hours in advance to cancel an appointment. Please understand it is difficult to me to fill that appointment spot in that short amount of time.
 

 

What if it's an accident and I forgot my appointment?

Please note that the booking software I use sends out reminder emails and texts 72 hours in advance. If you do not receive these, please contact me to update your email and number in the system. 

Also, just as I add your appointment to my calendar, I ask that you do the same.

What if I don't show up for my appointment and forget to communicate it?

A No Show is when no contact was made to communicate the inability to make it to your scheduled appointment.

 

Typically, I ask for 100% of your originally booked service, just as any other Dentist or Doctor would. Multiple no shows can result in my termination of doing your hair and helping assist you to find another Hairstylist.

What if I'm running late for an appointment?
Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame without affecting the rest of the scheduled appointments for the day. Unfortunately, doing this could result in a no show fee.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds are offered on any services provided by any Service Providers at Haven Salon Healing. Only "Adjustments" are offered if 1.The hair color, cut or extensions have turned out very different than what was agreed upon and/or the service provider has made a distinct mistake and 2.The Client contacts Haven Salon Healing within 7 days of the original service for an adjustment.

Important note: Beauty services are in the category of art and the service providers at Haven Salon Healing do their very best to provide a thorough consultation, asking pertinent questions, utilizing photos and other resources to better understand your desired outcome. Ultimately, there are factors that can prohibit this including but not limited to, hormones, environmental factors (sun, wind, water), previous products, services and chemicals used on the hair, known or unknown health concerns, porosity and density of the hair etc.

What can I expect from you as my Hairstylist?

-I am committed to being on time, every time. When I run behind, I communicate the information ASAP


-I will be present for your scheduled appointment time. I will not be answering phone calls or conducting business unrelated to you.


-It is against State Law to work with the public when sick. If I need to cancel your appointment, I will give as much notice as possible and will reschedule your appointment as soon as I am able to do so.


-I have a cancellation list that you can be added to. I also will offer you sooner appointment days and times, because I've seen it sometimes be more convenient. If you choose your original time, that is ALWAYS honored.


-I continue my education, always being proficient in the latest techniques, tools, and products that allow me to provide the desired outcomes for the health and appearance of your hair.

-I will always be honest if I believe a specific service or product is not in your best interest.
